• About ME

Thirty years life. 7 moves in between. I've lived in New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Connecticut, Georgia, South Carolina and California. Ask me my favorite place to live!:)

I specialize in relocating. To put it simply-I like helping people with their relocations. I've moved a lot so I can give you tons of advice.

Did you know you can pack stuff in your boots and other such things. Just line your boots with plastic and put small items in there! Another tip- get rid of stuff you don't need. Clean out your closet. Go through everything! Do it a few months before you actual move date. This will make it so that you don't have a ton of stuff to lug to your new place. I actually went through my walk in closet and donated about 50 lbs of clothes. Some of the more expensive stuff- such as a Gucci purse and Jimmy Choo heels I sold online and put towards my moving costs. Moving can be pricy so this can ultimately minimize costs (you will have less to move) and make you money to put towards your move! That's my 2 cents.

  • Education

I got an MBA from NYU. I am proud to be a college graduate and to have a higher education, but I know now it is not necessary to be successful. I was fortunate to have the support of my family through my schooling.

    Packing Tips

If you are relocating and you are hiring a moving company, take these steps prior to your move:

    1. Get free boxes from local stores. You can just ask workers. You will be surprised at how helpful they are. You can go to grocery stores, or stores like Ikea where they will have larger boxes for your belongings.

    2. Pack smaller items within larger items.

    3. Roll up clothes to minimize the amount of space they take up and to utilize all of the space you have

    4. Get rid of as much as you can prior to your move

    What company should you hire?

There are many different reputable moving and storage services that you could use for your long distance relocation. Doing a simple google search will land you with loads of results. But not all of the movers are reputable. I have a three step system I use to locate a reputable mover.

    1. Friends: Ask 5 friends to recommend movers. Write down the moving companies then proceed to the next step.

    2. Reviews: Read the reviews for all of the companies your friends recommended that you wrote down. Read the good reviews and the bad reviews. Are all of the reviews either 1 star or 5 stars? If so, they may not be real and you should keep that in mind.

    3. Google the company names that you are thinking of hiring. Choose the company that looks the best! And good luck!
